Brand designer, website designer, and fierce defender of wearing Crocs for comfort (because why should professionalism hurt your feet?).
Which brings me beautifully to my point (thanks, Crocs).
Branding for women entrepreneurs has gotten a lot ickier these days.
Let me explain.
When I first started my business, branding for women was very different. Personality was celebrated, fun colours were professional, and I built a brand that felt exactly like me: bold, warm, and unapologetically feminine. It worked. I attracted clients who got me.
But then the industry demanded we fit into a perfect mould; polished, sanitized, and stripped of anything too "soft" or "personal." So I tried to play by the new rules. I toned down my cheeky personality. I muted my use of colours. I tucked away my warmth.
And what did it get me?
A brand that felt like a lie, major imposter syndrome, and branding and a website that made me flinch when someone complimented it, because I felt SO disconnected from it.
But other entrepreneurs showed their personality and were still seen as professional.
GIRL, HOW?
So I paused and rebranded; not just my visuals, but my entire approach.
I tapped into years of experience and my work with bold, visionary women and realized professionalism and femininity aren’t mutually exclusive. In fact, blending them is what makes my work powerful.
But I wanted more. I wanted brands that didn’t just look the part but felt like a sigh of relief. So I designed brands that connected deeply, authentically, and without pretense.
And now? I bring my proven branding and website design to you, the women entrepreneurs, done with the icky, inauthentic, and exhausting performance.
And yes, it does have something to do with the Crocs.
Because branding isn’t about fitting into a mould. It’s about owning the space you take up; comfortably, confidently, and without apology. So many businesses don’t get that.
